WHAT ARE AFFIRMATIONS?
These days we all hear a lot of talk about affirmations and how great they are, but you may be wondering what exactly Wednesday affirmations are.
Simply put, affirmations are intentional positive words and statements that encourage and uplift us.
Affirmations are helpful for combatting negative thinking, anxiety, low self-esteem, and intrusive thoughts that can take over our lives and control how we think about ourselves.
When you think happy thoughts and practice speaking positive affirmations, it’s said that your brain actually releases endorphins which give you more energy!
HOW CAN WE APPLY AFFIRMATIONS TO OUR EVERYDAY LIVES?
The good thing is that you can recite your Wednesday affirmations anytime and anywhere.
You can say them out loud as you are getting ready in the morning, you can meditate on them, repeat them in your head while you’re in public and feel the anxiety creeping in, or write them on sticky notes and place them around your home.
Some people even like to listen to audio versions and replay them while driving or walking. Whatever works best for you is the right way!

We all know that different days can trigger different emotions within us.
That may be happiness, sadness, joy, confusion, worry, or the millions of other emotions we have. You then add work, kids, your spouse, and all the other things we have to deal with, and before you know it your mind is a pit of mental frustration, and you need something to pull you out of the slump.
For some people, Wednesday, hump day, or the middle of the week is that day.
Wednesdays can represent hope as you’ve made it halfway through the week, but for others, it can mean that you still have half of the never-ending week to go.
